Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Datawait platform and website.
Last updated June 3, 2026
1. Who we are
Datawait (the “Service”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is operated by Forge Analytics Group LLC, located at 1740 H. Dell Range Blvd Ste 200 Cheyenne, WY 82009. We are the controller responsible for your personal data in connection with the Service. If you have any questions about this Policy, contact us at support@datawait.com.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account data — your name, email address, company name, and password when you register.
- Billing data — your card details are entered at checkout and processed by our payment provider; we store only the card brand, last four digits, and a transaction reference, never your full card number.
- Monitoring configuration — the websites, keywords, brands, regulators, and other targets you choose to monitor.
- Communications — messages, attachments, and information you send us through live chat, contact forms, or email.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data — log information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps.
- Cookies — essential cookies used to keep you signed in and to secure forms. See our Cookie Policy.
Information from monitoring
To deliver the Service we retrieve publicly available content from the third-party sources and URLs you ask us to monitor (for example, competitor web pages and public news results). This content is processed on your behalf to detect changes and generate signals.
3. How we use your information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service and your dashboard.
- To process payments and manage your subscriptions.
- To perform the monitoring you configure and deliver alerts and reports.
- To respond to your support requests and communicate with you.
- To secure the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with law.
- To improve and develop new features.
4. Legal bases for processing
Where applicable law requires it, we process personal data on the basis of performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, your consent (which you may withdraw at any time), and compliance with legal obligations.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:
- Service providers — including our payment processor (Authorize.Net) and hosting/infrastructure providers, who process data on our behalf under contract.
- Legal and safety — when required to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
6. Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. Signed agreements and billing records are retained as required to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. You may request deletion of your account at any time, subject to those obligations.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can exercise many of these directly from your account, or by contacting us at support@datawait.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. Where your data is processed
Forge Analytics Group LLC is a United States–based company and we process and store your information in the United States. The Service is intended for customers in the United States.
10. Children’s privacy
The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
