Billing & Refund Policy
This policy explains how billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds work for the Datawait platform.

1. Subscriptions
Datawait services are sold individually (à la carte). When you activate a service, you start a recurring subscription billed each period to the payment method on file. You only pay for the services you choose.
2. Payments
Payments are processed securely through Authorize.Net. We store only your card brand, the last four digits, and a transaction reference — never your full card number.
3. Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically at the start of each billing period until you cancel. The renewal price is the then-current price for that service; we will give notice of any price change before it applies to you.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel any service at any time from your Billing dashboard. Cancellation stops future renewals. Your access to the cancelled service remains active until the end of the current paid period, after which it will not renew.
5. Refunds
- Subscription fees are billed in advance and are generally non-refundable, including for partial billing periods after cancellation.
- If you were charged due to a billing error on our part, or a duplicate charge, contact us and we will investigate and issue a refund where warranted.
- Where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you a refund or withdrawal right, that right applies and is not affected by this policy.
6. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first at support@datawait.com so we can resolve it quickly. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of your account.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date.
